BODY

Bedbug are oval shape without wings. Bedbug Eggs are Pin headed pear shaped.

SIZE

1/4 to 3/8 inch (4-5 mm)

COLOR

Reddish brown or brown.

HABITAT

Bedbug can be moved by infested objects like furniture, mattress, clothing or even people and animals.

DAMAGE

Bedbug prefer to feed human blood usually in night, bed bugs mostly bite all over human body specially near by the face and upper abdomen area. Bed bug eggs are easily found in cracks and crevices and bed mattress or spring box.

                                                           CONTROL

A) VACUUMING

Vacuum bedding, rugs and if the infestation is serious discard the infected bed or mattresses.

b) CHEMICAL

Bedbug hide in cracks and crevices; in apartments they may spread one unit to another unit so other unit should be inspected carefully, these should be treated with chemical.

c) CLEANING

Wash all drapes and bedding.
